Ice Wolves Goaltender Brock Makes College Commitment

July 13, 2026

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Evan Brock has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Metropolitan State College (Denver, Colorado).

The Durango, Colorado native has been with the Ice Wolves for one season. He played in two games for the team during the 2025-2026 season. In those games, Coldwell had a save percentage of .853.

“We're excited to see Evan get this opportunity to continue his hockey career at the college level,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach Isaac Washburn. “He brings a great attitude to the rink every day and works hard at his craft while being an excellent teammate.”

Brock’s best performance between the pipes came against the Tulsa Oilers on Sep. 20. In that game, Brock played for nine minutes and had 20 saves and a .870 SV%, resulting in a 7-3 win over the Oilers.

Brock is one of six players from the New Mexico Ice Wolves to make a college commitment this season.
