Icedogs Forward Bruns Makes College Commitment

The Bozeman Icedogs of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward, Devin Bruns, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon).

Bruns spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Bozeman Icedogs. The 2025-25 season was his best statistically.

During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 44 points during the regular season, and an additional nine points in the post season. He had 15 goals and 29 assists throughout 41 games. 

In February of 2026, Bruns was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Bruns represented the NA3HL on team White. 

“Devin Bruns is a high-energy, quick-strike forward who can effectively play both center and wing while contributing offensively and defensively. He plays a true power forward style with good speed, physicality, and an overpowering shot that can change a game quickly,” said Icedogs Head Coach Mike Perkins. “Over his two years with the Bozeman ICEDOGS, Devin has continued to develop into a reliable and impactful player. Just as important, Devin and his family have invested a tremendous amount of time, effort, and sacrifice into his hockey path and development. He represents hard work, commitment, and perseverance.”

Bruns’ best performance of the year came during his season opener on Sep. 5 against the Butte Irish. He scored three goals and recorded two assists to aid in the Icedogs’ 8-1 victory over the Irish.

Bruns is one of three players from the Bozeman Icedogs to make a college commitment this season.
