WarHawks Forward Jackson Makes College Commitment

The Wausau Cyclones of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward, Max Jackson, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for North Dakota State University (Fargo, North Dakota).

Jackson has spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the WarHawks. His improvement was evident as the 20252-2026 season was his most successful statistically.

Jackson recorded 43 points across 47 games this season. He recorded 14 goals and 29 assists. 

In February of 2026, Jackson was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Jackson represented the NA3HL on team Black. He recorded one assist during the tournament. 

Jackson had multiple 3 point games during the season. One of his best performances from the year came on Nov. 1 against the Minnesota Wilderness. He scored one goal and recorded two assists to aid in the WarHawks’ 7-5 victory over the Wilderness.

Jackson is one of four players from the Willmar WarHawks to make a college commitment this season.
