Warhawks Defenseman Holtz Makes College Commitment

The Willmar Warhawks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Toby Holtz has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Midland University (Fremont, Nebraska).

Holtz spent three seasons in the NA3HL. He initially played 11 games during the 2023-2024 season for the Minnesota Loons. During the 2024-2025 season, he joined the Waillmar Warhawks and remained on that team for the rest of his NA3HL career. 

His most successful season offensively was the 2025-2026 season, where he recorded nine assists and three goals, totaling 12 points for the season. 

His best performance came on Oct. 17 against the Minnesota Moose. He recorded two points including one goal and one assist.

Holtz is one of two players from the Willmar Warhawks to make a college commitment this season.
