Bozeman Forward Kaunas Makes College Commitment

The Bozeman Icedogs of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Andrew Kaunas has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon).

Kaunas has spent three consecutive seasons in the NA3HL with the Bozeman Icedogs. His most successful season was during the 2024-2025 season, where he recorded 51 total points consisting of 20 goals and 31 assists. 

This season he recorded 48 points including 21 goals and 27 assists.

In February of 2026, Kaunas was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Kaunas represented the NA3HL on team White.

“Andrew Kaunas is the definition of consistency, work ethic, and character. In my five years with the Bozeman Icedogs, there has not been a player who has worked harder both on and off the ice,” said Icedogs Head Coach Mike Perkins. “More importantly, Andrew is an outstanding young man who represents his family, his teammates, and our organization the right way every single day. His parents should be incredibly proud of the man he has become.”

His best performance this season was on Feb. 27 against the Butte Irish when he scored five points, consisting of three goals and two assists to help aid the Icedogs in a 12-0 shutout victory over the Irish.

Kaunas is one of two players from the Bozeman Icedogs to make a college commitment this season.
