Granite City Forward Tiernan Makes College Commitment

The Granite City Lumberjacks of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Eli Tiernan has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Lindenwood (St. Charles, Missouri).

Tiernan has spent two full seasons in the NA3HL with the Granite City Lumberjacks. His most successful season was the 2025-2026 season. He recorded 39 points during the regular season, including 16 goals and 23 assists, and an additional five points during the post season. 

In February of 2026, Tiernan was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Tiernan represented the NA3HL on team Black. He recorded two assists during two games of the tournament. 

His best performances this season were on Sep. 26 against the Wisconsin Woodman and Oct. 24 against the Minnesota Moose. He recorded three assists in both games to help aid the Lumberjacks to victory. 

Tiernan was a part of the 2026 Fraser Cup Championship winning team.

Tiernan is one of seven players from the Granite City Lumberjacks to make a college commitment this season.
