Texas Forward Michael Makes College Commitment

The Texas Brahmas of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Caden Micheal has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the Illinois State (Normal, Illinois).

Michael spent two seasons with the Texas Brahmas. His most successful season was the 20252-2026 season when he recorded 18 total points, including 10 goals and eight assists across 31 games during the regular season. He scored an additional two points in the post season.

“The Redbirds gained a passionate player and a high character person. We are beyond thrilled to see Caden achieve a spot in a team close to home for him!” Said Brahmas Head Coach Michael Rooney.

One of his best performances of the 2025-26 season was on Oct. 31 against the West Texas Wranglers. He had two goals to help the Brahmas take a 7-0 shutout victory over the Wranglers. 

Micheal is one of three players from the Texas Brahmas to make a college commitment this season.
