West Bend Forward Fitzgerald Makes College Commitment

The West Bend Power of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Jace Fitzgerald has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey for Augsburg University (Minneapolis, Minnesota).

Fitzgerald has spent three seasons with the West Bend Power in the NA3HL. The 2025-2026 season was his most successful in the league. Fitzgerald scored 31 goals and 30 assists for 61 total points this season. Fitzgerald’s 31 goals left him ranked 21st of all forwards in the league.

In February of 2026, the Wisconsin native was selected to play in the Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted talent from both the NAHL and the NA3HL. In two games for Team Red, Fitzgerald recorded one assist.

Fitzgerald also spent time in the NAHL during the 2024-2025 season for the Wisconsin Windigo and Minnesota Mallards. He appeared in the nine games and recorded three points during his time in the NAHL. 

“Jace Fitzgerald’s time with the West Bend Power is a great example of development through consistency—bringing a high-end work ethic and compete level every day,” said West Bend Power Head Coach Jason Woods. “He came in ready to work, earned everything, and left as a more complete, impactful player who made those around him better.”

The best performance of the 2025-26 season from Fitzgerald came on Jan. 1 against the Peoria Mustangs. In that game, Fitzgerald scored three goals and added three assists to help his team take the victory by a score of 8-0.

Fitzgerald is one of four players from the West Bend Power to make a college commitment this season.
