Americans Forward Clouse Makes College Commitment

The Great Falls Americans of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Cooper Clouse has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Hope College (Holland, Michigan). 

The Fargo, North Dakota native found great success and improvement during his two seasons in the NA3HL. During the 2025-26 season, he was a standout player for the Americans as he recorded an outstanding 88 points in 46 games. He had 23 points and 65 assists. This season was his most successful season from his time in the NA3HL.

The 2005 birth year’s 88 points left him ranked 7th in the league amongst all forwards. The 65 assists he recorded ranked him #5 in the league amongst all forwards in the NA3HL.

In February of 2026, Clouse was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Clouse represented the NA3HL on team White. He recorded one goal and one assist during the prospect tournament.

“We are very excited that Cooper will continue his playing career at Hope.  Cooper was a huge part of our team the last two years and it’s great to see his hard work pay off,” Americans Head Coach Greg Sears said. “We are excited to watch Cooper at Hope next season!”

His best performance was on Oct. 17 against the Badlands Sabres. He had 2 goals and 2 assists to aid his team in a 6-2 victory. 

Clouse joins the ACHA 2024-2025 Division III National Champions. This past season was Hope College’s inaugural season in Division I, and they finished with a 26-9 record. 

Clouse is one of five players from the Great Falls Americans to make a college commitment this season.
