Sharks Forward Nicoloff Makes College Commitment

The Long Beach Sharks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Spencer Nicoloff has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Oakland University (Oakland County, Michigan).

Nicoloff spent two seasons with the Long Beach Sharks. His most successful season was the 20252-2026 season when he recorded 24 total points, including 11 goals and 13 assists across 45 games during the regular season.

“Spencer was the ultimate team player and competitor in his 2 seasons with the Sharks,” Sharks Head Coach Jeff Tory said. “Spencer plays a complete 200 foot game and can be relied upon to produce offense or shut down the opponents top line. We wish Spencer all the best as a student athlete at Oakland University.”

The best performances of the 2025-26 season from Nicoloff were on Nov. 8 and Jan. 2; both games against the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings. He recorded two goals during each game against the Kings.

Nicoloff is one of three players from the Long Beach Sharks to make a college commitment this season.
