Wisconsin Goaltender Rivolta Makes College Commitment

The Wisconsin Woodsmen of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Alex Rivolta has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (North Adams, Massachusetts).

During the 2025-26 season in the NA3HL, the Kirkwood, Missouri native was a dependable netminder for the Woodsmen. Appearing in 17 games for Wisconsin, Rivolta boasted an impressive record of 10-3-0. 

From the 2024-25 season with the St. Louis J. Blues, to the 2025-26 season with the Wisconsin Woodsmen, Rivolta showed tremendous improvement across all statistics. His goals against average improved by more than a goal and his save percentage improved by over .040 points.

The 6-foot-3 goaltender’s .921 save percentage and 2.71 goals against average in the 2025-26 season left him ranked in the top-20 across all goalies in the league.

I am excited to continue to watch him in his journey at the next level.” 

The most outstanding performance from Rivolta this past season came on Dec. 16 against the Bozeman IceDogs. The 6-foot-3 goaltender recorded a 27-save shutout and the Woodsmen added seven goals for a 7-0 victory.. 

Rivolta is one of five players from the Wisconsin Woodsmen to make a college commitment this season.
