Helena Goaltender Blake Makes College Commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Andrew Blake has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey for Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota).

During the 2025-26 season, the Champlin, Minnesota was a solid piece of the Helena Bighorn’s team in between the pipes. 

Before joining the Bighorns, the 2005 birth year spent two seasons in the blue paint for the Mason City Toros. Blake played in 41 games for the Toros and had a record of 16-20-4 with a shutout. 

In the 19 games that Blake played for the Bighorns in 2025-26 he had a record of 15-3-0 and had a goals against average below 3.00.

“Wish Drew all the best on the next chapter of his hockey career,” said Helena Bighorns Head Coach Damon Hansen. “Concordia College is getting a great goalie but an even better person.”  

Blake’s best performance in net came against the Bozeman IceDogs on Oct. 10. In that game, Blake stopped 29 of the 30 shots that he faced and helped lead Helena to a 4-1 victory over Bozeman on the road.

Blake is one of four players from the Helena Bighorns to make a college commitment this season.
