Alexandria Forward Roness Makes College Commitment

The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Kaden Roness has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Mary (Burleigh County, North Dakota).

During the 2025-26 season, the Bismarck, North Dakota native showed tremendous improvement from his first season with the Alexandria Blizzard. Roness almost tripled his point production going from 13 points in his first season to 37 points in his second season.  

The 37 points that the forward recorded included 15 goals and 22 assists and left him ranked in the top-150 players in the league. 

Roness’s best performance of the season came against the Minnesota Moose on Feb. 7. In that game Roness scored a hat trick and added an assist for a four-point performance. The Blizzard defeated the Moose by a score of 8-3 on home ice.

Roness is one of six players from the Alexandria Blizzard to make a college commitment this season.
