Minnesota Forward Gause Makes College Commitment

The Minnesota Moose of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Carsen Gause has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Missouri State University (Springfield, Missouri).

During the 2025-26 season for the Minnesota Moose, Carsen Gause scored 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 total points. Gause’s one point per game left him ranked in the top-150 of all forwards in the league.

In February of 2026, the Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin native was selected to play in the Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted talent from both the NAHL and the NA3HL. In two games for Team Black, Gause recorded a goal.

Gause also spent time in the NAHL this season for the Wisconsin Windigo. He appeared in the eight games and recorded two points. 

"Carsen is an amazing offensive player. He was able to point and score goals consistently, said Minnesota Moose Head Coach Todd Sanden. “Accentuating his hockey abilities, he is a good person and a great locker room guy. Missouri State is getting a player that will represent himself and the University in a positive manner." 

The best performance of the 2025-26 season from Gause came on Dec. 5 against the Granite City Lumberjacks. In that game, Gause scored two goals and added an assist to help the Moose take game two of the home-and-home series over the Lumberjacks by a score of 6-5.

Gause is one of seven players from the Minnesota Moose to make a college commitment this season.
