Badlands Defenseman Seanor Makes College Commitment

The Badlands Sabres of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Ethan Seanor has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Michigan-Flint (Flint, Michigan).

This past season was Seanor’s fourth season in the NA3HL with the Badlands Sabres, making him one of the longest tenured players in the league. The experience that the defenseman has is unmatched. 

“Ethan has been with us for 4 years now. He is someone that is going to be really hard to replace,” said Badlands Sabres Head Coach Brooks Mitzel. “His development has been awesome to see, and we couldn't be prouder of Ethan. He earned this opportunity and he will excel at the next level.”

Over the course of the four seasons, Seanor has shown steady improvement on the offensive side of the puck. The best season offensively for the Noblesville, Indiana native came in 2024-25 when he recorded 16 total points. Those points consisted of two goals and 14 assists. 

The best performances of the 2025-26 season from Seanor came on Jan. 17 against the Great Falls Americans. In that game, Seanor recorded three assists in the Sabres’ 5-3 victory on home ice. 

Seanor is one of two players from the Badlands Sabres to make a college commitment this season.
