Former Butte Forward Weber Makes College Commitment

The Butte Irish of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Loghan Weber has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon).

During the 2025-26 season in the NA3HL, the Beaverton, Oregon native played for two different programs. Weber played in 32 games for the Butte Irish before getting traded to the Louisiana Drillers, where he finished the season playing in 12 games. 

The best statistical year for the forward came during the 2024-25 season when Weber recorded 80 total points in 45 games for the Irish. 

This season he picked up right where he left off by recording 76 total points, leaving him ranked in the top-20 in points across all players. 

The best performance of the season from Weber came in the latter part of the season with Louisiana. On February 20 Weber recorded six assists in a home game against the Bayou State Rougarou. The Drillers defeated the Rougarou handily in that contest.

During the 2025-26 Fraser Cup Playoffs, Weber showed off more of his offensive prowess by recording 19 total points for the Drillers during the team’s run to the championship game. 

Weber is one of two players from the Butte Irish to make a college commitment this season.
